Founder of
The Fullest
Nikki Bostwick is a first‑generation Iranian American whose earliest memories are rooted in the rituals and remedies of her culture. In her home, saffron was more than an ingredient — it was a symbol of care, celebration, comfort, and healing. That connection to tradition shaped her understanding of wellness long before she ever worked in the field.
Over the years, Nikki immersed herself in global approaches to wellbeing, exploring both ancient healing systems and modern research. Through that journey, one belief remained constant: emotional and mental wellbeing shape how we experience our lives.
She founded The Fullest to bring together ancient wisdom, modern science, and daily ritual through products centered around saffron — one of the world’s most treasured botanicals. Her intention is simple and deeply human: to help people feel calmer, more connected, and more fully themselves. Because wellness isn’t just about longevity; it’s about living with presence, depth, and fullness while we’re here.
Everything You Need to Know About The Fullest
How long does it take to notice the effects?
Your diet and lifestyle all impact how soon you'll see Saffron Latte or Saffron Capsules benefits and how noticeable they'll be. Most customers notice improvements in as little as a one hour of consumption, and for others, it can take as long as a few weeks of consistent usage. We're all different, so our bodies will react uniquely to THE FULLEST's saffron products.
Why is there only 30mg of saffron in Saffron Capsules, but 150mg in Saffron Latte?
The difference comes down to the ingredient. Saffron Latte is crafted with 150mg of whole saffron per serving, while Saffron Capsules features 30mg of a potent saffron extract per serving.
The extract is more concentrated, so that's why there's less. Saffron Latte and Saffron Capsules both offer a therapeutic dosage of saffron, designed to enhance your mood and overall well-being.
What are the capsules made of?
We did our best to source the cleanest, vegan capsules made out of hypromellose.
Also, it's important you follow the directions on the bottle and mix our floor cleaner with water, otherwise it can feel sticky if used without diluting.
When is the best time of day to take these capsules?
Depending on what you’re wanting to accomplish, taking the capsules in the morning helps elevate your mood throughout the day while taking it in the evening will help with relaxation.
What should I do if I experience dizziness after taking saffron?
If you experience dizziness after taking saffron, it’s important to take the following steps:
- Reduce the dosage and monitor if symptoms improve.
- If dizziness persists, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
- Discuss your symptoms with a physician to rule out other potential causes or interactions with medications.
Can I take Saffron Capsules in addition to a serving of Saffron Latte?
Yes! We formulated Saffron Capsules with the recommended medicinal dose of saffron used in clinical trials (30mg) but the daily limit is actually much higher. So, feel free to take Saffron Capsules in addition to a cup of Saffron Latte.
Should these be taken with or without food?
The capsules can be consumed on an empty stomach or with food, so it just comes down to your preference! Even though our formulations are very gentle, if you have a sensitive stomach, we always recommend taking them with food.
Why isn't there black pepper in your Saffron Capsules?
You may have heard that in order for turmeric to be properly absorbed in the body, it needs to contain piperine — and that’s not untrue! Piperine is found in black pepper and does make curcumin more bioavailable — it’s also why you will find pepper in many turmeric lattes. But there are also other ways that can support the body’s absorption of curcumin such as good healthy fats! For this reason, we include 50mg Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) Oil Powder in our Saffron Capsules.
Is Saffron Capsules considered safe while breastfeeding?
Saffron has been used for centuries during the postpartum period where most mothers are also breastfeeding their newborns. It is a wonderful supplement to nourish the mother and support her mood and hormones. While saffron is considered generally safe during this period, we always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider prior to starting any supplement routine.
Does saffron increase estrogen?
Saffron contains bioactive compounds such as crocin, safranal, and picrocrocin, which generally help balance hormones through their adaptogenic effects. Some individuals with underlying health challenges may be more sensitive to these changes.
Saffron and Estrogen:
- Mild Hormonal Effects: Some research suggests that saffron may have a slight estrogen-like effect, but it is not as potent as other substances like soy or flax. It’s generally considered mild and does not cause significant increases in estrogen.
- Hormonal Balance: Instead of causing major hormonal fluctuations, saffron may help support overall hormonal balance. It has been studied for its potential to relieve symptoms related to PMS and menopause, which are often caused by hormonal shifts.
Dosage Matters:
- While saffron is safe in typical culinary or supplement amounts, taking excessive doses may lead to detox side effects like dizziness and nausea. It’s best to start low and go slow if you experience this. If your symptoms persist, stop consuming and consult with a healthcare provider.
Overall, saffron is considered safe for most people and ages, and is unlikely to cause significant hormonal disruption when used in normal amounts. Its effects on estrogen are generally mild and should not pose a risk unless there are specific underlying health conditions.
Is Saffron Capsules safe for while pregnant?
We do not recommend saffron during your first two trimesters of pregnancy, until 37 weeks gestation. However, as we are not healthcare practitioners or providers, we recommend reaching out to your local healthcare practitioner if you are planning on taking THE FULLEST’s supplements during your pregnancy.
Does Saffron Latte contain any glyphosate?
No, we routinely test Saffron Latte for glyphosate to make sure our product is offered in the cleanest form possible.
What does it taste like?
Saffron is often compared to turmeric because of its color. However, saffron has a softer, more floral flavor when compared to turmeric’s pungent notes. We like to think of Saffron Latte as a warm, floral hug!
Can I drink too many servings of Saffron Latte?
Experiences and sensitivities vary from person to person, so we recommend staying within two servings of Saffron Latte per experience at the onset.
