INSIDE OUR TALLOW MAKING PROCESS
STEP 1
We start with grass-fed, grass-finished beef suet tallow from small California ranches. It's dry-rendered for a clean, steady fat that becomes the base of every batch.
STEP 2
Then we prepare our chosen herbs, selecting each one with intention. Every blend is formulated for specific skin types, so we choose herbs and oils that truly support the skin we're crafting for.

We gently infuse our herbs into the oils, letting time do the work. Depending on the strength we're aiming for, these infusions can steep anywhere from a few weeks to several

Once our oils are fully infused, we blend them with our warm, softened tallow. The mixture comes together slowly, then we whip it into a light, creamy butter that feels soft and luxurious on the skin.
Step 5
Once the tallow reaches its creamy, buttery consistency, we pipe it gently into jars. Each one is filled by hand, keeping the process slow, intentional, and personal.

Will it smell like beef?
No. We slowly dry-render + triple-filter our tallow in small batches for a clean, neutral aroma. Any subtle scent you notice comes naturally from the botanicals infused into the formula.
Will it feel greasy?
A little goes a long way. Our tallow creams have a rich, buttery texture that melts into damp skin. Start with a pea-sized amount—using too much can leave more product sitting on the skin than you need.
How much should I use?
Just a pea-sized amount for the face + neck. Warm it between your fingertips, then gently press into slightly damp skin. With tallow, less really is more.
What’s the difference between the tallow creams?
They all begin with our hand-rendered grass-fed + grass-finished tallow, but each formula is paired with different botanical infusions + oils for different skin needs. Choose based on what your skin is asking for—from nourishment + soothing care to balance, radiance + renewal.
Can I use it morning + night?
Yes. Use it morning, evening, or whenever your skin needs extra nourishment. We especially love it as the final step of an evening ritual. Apply to slightly damp skin to help seal in hydration.
Why should I apply tallow to damp skin?
Tallow is water-free, so we recommend hydrating first. Mist freshly cleansed skin with a hydrosol, then press your tallow into slightly damp skin to help seal that hydration in.
