WHAT'S IN THE JAR
Tallow from California grass-fed cows
Tallow has been used in traditional skin preparations for generations. Naturally rich in fatty acids, its lipid-rich composition makes it especially well suited to nourishing dry skin. It helps soften + condition while supporting the skin’s moisture barrier and reducing moisture loss—exactly what skin needs in dry, low-humidity climates.
Organic Arizona-grown Jojoba Oil
Jojoba is a lightweight liquid wax with a composition similar to skin’s natural sebum. It helps soften + condition without a heavy, greasy feel, making it well suited for dry, combination + blemish-prone skin.
Organic Rosehip Oil
Naturally rich in linoleic + linolenic fatty acids, rosehip seed oil also contains beta-carotene and naturally occurring antioxidants. It helps nourish the skin’s moisture barrier while supporting a smoother, softer + more radiant-looking complexion.
Organic Hawaii-grown Coffee
Naturally rich in caffeine + antioxidant plant compounds, coffee is especially loved in skincare for dull, tired-looking skin. Slowly infused into jojoba, it helps support a smoother, more radiant-looking complexion while bringing nourishment to skin that’s lost a little of its glow.
NEW TO TALLOW? A few things you may be wondering before your first jar.
Does it contain coffee fragrance or essential oils?
No. We don't add coffee fragrance or essential oils. Instead, coffee is slowly infused into organic jojoba, giving the formula its naturally subtle aroma + botanical character.
Why do you infuse coffee into the oil?
Oil infusion is a traditional method of working with botanicals. We slowly infuse coffee into jojoba before blending it with our hand-rendered tallow + botanical oils rather than simply adding fragrance to make the finished cream smell like coffee.
Is Coffee only for morning use?
Not at all. Use it morning, evening or whenever your skin needs extra nourishment. We just happen to love it as part of a slow morning ritual.
How much should I use?
Just a pea-sized amount for the face + neck. Warm it between your fingertips, then gently press into slightly damp skin. With tallow, less really is more.
What's the difference between Coffee + Vanilla?
Both are rich tallow creams made for dry skin. Vanilla is our go-to for deeply thirsty skin, while Coffee was created for skin that feels dry, dull + tired-looking.
Why should I apply tallow to damp skin?
Tallow is water-free, so we recommend hydrating first. Mist freshly cleansed skin with a hydrosol, then press your tallow into slightly damp skin to help seal that hydration in.
