Tallow has been used in traditional skin preparations for generations. Naturally rich in fatty acids, its lipid-rich composition makes it especially well suited to nourishing dry skin. It helps soften + condition while supporting the skin’s moisture barrier and reducing moisture loss—exactly what skin needs in dry, low-humidity climates.
Organic Arizona-grown Jojoba Oil
Jojoba is a lightweight liquid wax with a composition similar to skin’s natural sebum. It helps soften + condition without a heavy, greasy feel, making it well suited for dry, combination + blemish-prone skin.
Lanolin from Texas Grass-fed sheep
Naturally rich in waxy lipids, lanolin is a deeply conditioning emollient prized for its ability to soften dry, rough skin + help reduce moisture loss. Its rich, protective nature makes it especially suited to hardworking hands + weather-exposed skin.
Illinois Sourced Beeswax
Naturally rich in fatty acids + esters, beeswax forms a breathable protective layer on the skin that helps reduce moisture loss + keep skin feeling soft and conditioned. Will it leave my hands feeling greasy?
This is a rich, concentrated balm, so a little goes a long way. Start with a small amount and massage it in well, especially over dry areas, knuckles + cuticles.
Why do you use both tallow + lanolin?
Tallow provides rich, nourishing moisture while lanolin helps condition dry, weather-exposed skin. Together, they create a concentrated balm especially suited to hardworking hands + dry climates.
How often can I use it?
As often as your hands need it. Keep it nearby after hand washing, before heading outdoors, or use a little more as part of your evening ritual.
Can I use it on my cuticles?
Absolutely. Massage a small amount into dry cuticles, knuckles + other stubborn dry spots whenever they need extra care.
Can I use it anywhere besides my hands?
Yes. Although it was created for hands, the concentrated balm works beautifully on small areas of rough, dry skin like elbows, knees + other weathered spots.
Does it contain added fragrance or essential oils?
No fragrance or essential oils are added to this formula. Because it contains natural lanolin, you may notice a subtle wool-like aroma. This is a normal characteristic of the ingredient and does not indicate spoilage. If you are highly sensitive to scents, please keep this in mind before ordering.
Is this a lotion?
No. Unlike a traditional lotion, this balm is water-free + highly concentrated. You only need a small amount, making it especially useful when regular hand lotion doesn't feel like enough.
